NLM supports the following resource grant programs:

NLM Information Resource Grants to Reduce Health Disparities (G08) provide support for projects to bring useful, usable health information to populations that experience health disparities and their health care providers.

Grants for Scholarly Works in Biomedicine and Health (G13) support the preparation of book-length manuscripts and other scholarly works of value to U.S. health professionals, public health officials, biomedical researchers and historians of the health sciences.

NIH Support for Conferences and Scientific Meetings (R13) provide support for high quality scientific meetings, conferences, and workshops that are relevant to scientific development in the NLM Scientific Areas of Interest. NLM will not support the annual meeting for an organization. The typical award is $10,000 per year in direct costs. The maximum amount that can be requested for a single year is $20,000 in direct costs. Only electronic applications are accepted.

Regional Medical Libraries for the National Network of the National Library of Medicine (UG4): The NNLM advances the progress of medicine and improves public health by providing U.S. health professionals with equal access to biomedical information and improving individual's access to information to enable them to make informed decisions about their health.
