In 1953, the Shanghai Anti-Tuberculosis Association produced a large series of anti-TB posters. As a part of preventative care, this poster shows a doctor, wearing a mask, and a patient meeting for an exam. Above the main image are four smaller round images depicting a doctor examining a patient with a stethoscope, a patient being given an X-ray, a row of test tubes with blood samples, and a lab technician looking into a microscope.
